A traditional Steak & Chophouse Restaurant has long been absent in Norfolk. Opening in 2006, Byrd & Baldwin Bros. Steakhouse set out to fill this void. Housed in the circa 1906 building of the same name, Byrd & Baldwin Bros. Steakhouse was conceived and executed with a no compromise attitude rewarding guests with a memorable dining experience.

Byrd & Baldwin Bros. serves only grain fed Midwestern all natural beef aged on site to ensure only the finest product quality. Meals are prepared in our state of the art kitchen by Chef Carlton Spurlock and his staff.

An extensive wine selection is provided from our temperature and humidity controlled cellar insuring optimal storage conditions. Our commitment is to provide not only the finest in food and beverage, but also outstanding service that will create a most memorable dining experience.


Private Parties & Events
Byrd & Baldwin Bros. Steakhouse can accommodate private parties and events. Depending on your specific event & number of people, we can reserve the entire building, first or second floor, or the private dining room for your guests. Our private dining room can seat 10 - 30 guests, from wedding receptions to rehearsal dinners to birthday parties to corporate parties, we can provide an elegant venue and superb food and beverages for the most discerning palate.
